Suze:

Before starting the remix I didn’t have a clear idea of how I wanted it to sound, it was initially a case of playing with the source material and seeing what was generated. When some solid ideas started to form I was inspired to make the track a bit more hectic and disorientating than the original, with the introduction of smashing sounds, frenzied vocals and discordant pads. Keeping in mind the ‘refracting’ aspect of the brief, I made several of the more musical elements within the track bend quite significantly in pitch.
